Short dump SQL_CAUGHT_RABAX and TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED - During execution of a database field in the database interfaces, short

dump "TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED" occurred and has been intercepted by the  runtime environment. No more memory available to add rows to an internal table.

Error analysis

Analyze short dump "TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED". This is listed in ST22 immediately before this short dump. If this is not the case, start report RSCORE00, so that the  short dump will be listed in ST22.

Issue : Getting dump TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED and followed by another dump SQL_CAUGHT_RABAX.

Analysis :  The dump SQL_CAUGHT_RABAX and TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED is not consistent and occurring sometimes. There could be two reasons. First one will be an issue with memory and second one will be fetching more data to internal tables.

If an issue is with memory then obviously we need to increase memory if we are getting more dumps.

In my case there is an IDOC which will have 900K status records and till this IDOC gets processed since the IDOC status is 51. We could not figure out which IDOC causing issue and dump is occurred with below the code

        WHERE   docnum t_edidc-docnum
            AND status t_edidc-status.

However the program and select query may vary and I have given my experience.

Solution : Had count the IDOC status entries in table EDIDS with the status '51' or sometimes it might be processed and the same time memory was completely free. Finally I got a IDOC with the status count is 900K(single IDOC status) and I have verified the transaction posting which is success so verified with Business and I had set the IDOC status as '68'-Error - no further processing.

Now I do not find any issue or dump related to SQL_CAUGHT_RABAX and TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED.

Your case the dump may vary and analyse your select query or internal table processing statements(ie. append or insert in internal table processing).
